After booking your appointment with Mary, your journey generally begins with a visit at 10- 12 weeks gestation with your consultant obstetrician Dr O’Donnell and his specialist midwife Julia.
- Further visits are scheduled initially at 4 weekly intervals but reduce to weekly visits towards the end of pregnancy.
- Each visit will include ultrasound assessment of your babies well being.
- Confinement / delivery will take place at University Hospital Waterford.
- A further visit will take place 6 weeks after the baby is born.
